This once in a lifetime, two-day event will be one for the Ages. On November 11th @ 10:00 AM, a representative of each family studied will learn about their family histories and possible connections in the community that they may have not known about prior to the start of this project. They will also learn about their ancestral DNA and which part of Africa, if at all, their family origins began.
On November 12th @ 11:00 AM, the families will stand in for their ancestors to reclaim the marriages that were denied two hundred years ago simply because of the color of their skin. The ceremonies will take place on the sacred ground of Maury Field (aka Stadium).
While the events are free, tickets are required. Follow this link to pick up your tickets today!
