Unclaimed Property is perhaps the least sought after source of genealogy information. Besides the obvious reconcilation of accounts, it could hold clues to relatives both living and deceased. If nothing else, do not allow the state government to claim an asset of anyone in your family. The only cost to you is the time it takes to search the databases. The requirements for each state to claim these assets vary but definetly worth the effort.
